Immigration Minute

Our New York office is the flagship of our firm’s worldwide practice. Established in 1951 as a well-respected boutique firm specializing in U.S. immigration law, we have grown and expanded to become the cornerstone office of the world’s leading global immigration services provider. For over half a century, midtown Manhattan served as home to our New York office. Our relocation to the Wall Street district of lower Manhattan has enabled us to accommodate the expansion of our firm’s practice.

We serve a wide variety of industries, including those in such diverse areas as financial services and banking, energy, consumer products, professional services, the cultural arts, sports and entertainment. Our clients range from multinational conglomerates to mid-sized and small companies, to entrepreneurial ventures. We also have practice teams that specialize in handling employment- and family-based immigration matters for individuals. No matter the type of client or the scope of the engagement, we address the immigration needs of each client with the same standards of excellence with which the Fragomen name has become synonymous.

We strategically partner with our clients on an individual basis to establish immigration program policies and formulate procedures. The high touch service we provide each client involves working with them to create processes designed to easily integrate within their own organizational structure – our objective being to address all of the immigration-related aspects of their employee population in a personalized manner. In addition to having defined and mastered the role that effective immigration counsel holds in advancing the market success of employers with a foreign national workforce, we are acknowledged thought leaders in the field. Our opinions are sought by government agencies involved in the shaping of change and reform in the future of immigration law.
