Tzu-Kai Lo

Kai concentrates his immigration law practice on employment-based immigration matters. He has successfully obtained approvals of employment related visas for his corporate and private clients, including B-1s, E-1s, E-2s, E-3s, H-1Bs, L-1As, L-1Bs, and TNs. Kai also represents employers in their permanent labor certification applications (PERM), and assists foreign nationals to adjust their status to that of a permanent resident under the EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 preference categories.

Representative Experience

Obtained L-1 new office and extension approvals for corporate clients based on complex affiliation relationships

Oversaw and managed the filing of H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, and E-2 visa applications for a global computer software company

Assisted a public school district to obtain a J-1 two-year foreign residence waiver and H-1B visa status for its Mandarin Chinese teachers

Counseled and established immigration and PERM strategies for a telecommunication cost management company
