Anna has more than 15 years of experience advising multinational corporations, U.S. employers and foreign nationals regarding all aspects of U.S. immigration law and compliance. Anna has established her reputation by providing legal and policy guidance that reflects fast-changing immigration programs and regulations to meet business needs. Applying her working knowledge of evolving immigration policy, Anna regularly develops and executes complex, industry-tailored immigration programs for professional and executive-level employees at leading global corporations. Her practice includes providing counsel to start-ups and advising established companies on the U.S. immigration implications of mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy. She has extensive experience in providing pragmatic overviews of immigration procedures for foreign national employees, evaluating and implementing immigration policies and discussing clients’ unique business and immigration strategic goals with executive management.

In addition, Anna provides legal guidance on matters related to nonimmigrant visas; permanent residence; naturalization; compliance, management and audit representation; EB-5 visas; E-Verify; and I-9 programs. She regularly works with businesses and high net worth individuals to obtain temporary visas and permanent residency based on foreign direct investment into U.S. business ventures.

Anna also contributes significantly to the business and immigration community in Illinois. As a member of the Steering Committee of the Illinois Business Immigration Coalition, a founding member of the Polish American Committee, former president of the Polish American Chamber of Commerce and an active member of the Chicago Relocation Council, she regularly works with top political officials in Illinois to ensure awareness of the immigrant community.

Anna has established herself as a prominent advocate for issues related to U.S. immigration law, as well as the importance of attracting foreign direct investment to Illinois via immigrant-owned businesses and investments. Anna uses a variety of platforms to advocate for immigration and foreign direct investment, including radio, publications, lectures and personal appearances. She is regularly invited for interviews on local radio, has been quoted by the Chicago Tribune and Fortune, and has spoken at national and international conferences regarding EB-5 and various aspects of immigration law.

Additionally, Anna is actively involved in immigration policy development through participation on committees such as the American Jewish Committee/Ford Foundation Immigration Advocacy Project. As a native of Poland, she is fluent in both English and Polish and is personally and professionally a prominent member of Chicago’s Polish community.
