A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Billing Coordinator (EMEA) to join the firm. The role is responsible for the quality checking and submission of invoices for EMEA region (both manually and via ebilling), as well as managing any queries relating to those invoices. In addition this role will be responsible for the submission of ad-hoc client specific billing reports and updating client billing protocols in conjunction with the legal and client services teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring prompt submission of invoices and any supporting documentation to clients
Resolving billing/invoice queries, and establishing good relations with both internal and external contacts
Managing client e-billing for EMEA region and feedback to local AR teams on approval status and payments
Updating the Finance Management Team weekly regarding invoice submissions and queries, including reporting on query types & resolution timeframes
Escalating billing issues to managers/partners in a timely manner and suggesting resolutions to frequent/reoccurring issues
Supporting the legal team training from a finance perspective in relation to billing processes & query management/prevention
Reviewing and submitting updates for billing contacts within our client database. Plus updating billing protocols either directly or via client services team
Supporting auditors in relation to the annual audit of Accounts Receivable and related functions
Working with the business to suggest, support & initiate change/s through process improvement & monitoring
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Be able to act under instruction with limited supervision
Previous financial experience
Demonstrates expert proficiency in word processing, Internet and email systems
Complete tasks within agreed time-frames and in line with expectations
Be highly organised, enthusiastic and pay attention to details
Be willing to assists in other key areas within the EMEA team
