Compensation Analyst

Fragomen Worldwide is searching for a Compensation Analyst based in our Matawan, New Jersey office. The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for research and analysis with regards to compensation for US legal and corporate staff departments. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, the Compensation Analyst will develop, analyze and review compensation programs, policies and procedures to be responsive to the company's goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation programs are competitive and consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Role of Compensation Support:

Member of Center of Excellence:

  • Drive a consistent evaluation approach across US Practices
  • Be a subject matter expert
  • Provide competitive insights & best practices to local HR
  • Recommend data driven solutions
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for regulatory compliance

Supporting Business:

  • Promote a” pay for performance” culture
  • Ensure optimal use of budgets
  • Partner with local HR and recruiting in support of business objectives
  • Effectively communicate & market our Total Reward offerings
  • Review and monitor employee pay and recommend increases as needed
  • Analyze country specific data and relevant market trends, develop salary structures and market pricing recommendations.


  • Participate and utilize salary surveys
  • Design and management of title and grade structures
  • Build and implement tools to streamline annual processes (i.e. salary reviews, benefits open enrollment, benchmarking)
  • Workday Data Support


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and/or equivalent professional work experience required
  • At least two years of experience compensation field
  • Experience in the legal services or professional services field highly preferred
  • Workday proficiency strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required
  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with top management.
