Fragomen's NY office is seeking a proven data leader whose primary responsibility will be to provide audit and reporting support to one of our legal teams, working directly with senior Client Services Managers (CSMs) and our attorneys. This role will provide audit, data integrity, and reporting support to one of our larger clients initially, and then expanding to help the broader team in utilizing our in-house, enterprise immigration-specific technology.

As a Data Analyst, you will: 

  • Audit Person and Case records and provide reporting to the CSM and attorneys on the outcome, for correction or updating by the legal team.
  • Provide support and ideas to help with tracking the preparation and filing of petitions.
  • Maintain a library of reports including requirements and data points that are regularly delivered to both legal teams and clients.
  • Act as a liaison between our team and corporate reporting team to develop solutions to meet client specific needs.
  • Arrange and display data to legal teams and clients to show trends, gaps, and successes.
  • Run and present audit reports to legal team to identify data gaps or inaccuracies.
  • Identify gaps in our Connect processes and provide input to leaders on potential solutions.
  • Benchmark data points and team process improvements to assist in building future reporting and audit mechanisms to help us do better.
  • Utilize judgement to identify gaps in data, incorrect data, or incomplete data and work both independently and with the legal team to identify mechanisms to correct these deficiencies.

  • A passion for data and problem solving.
  • One year or more of immigration paralegal or analyst experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to present data findings in graphs and charts.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Communicates clearly and accurately and adheres to client and firm confidentiality and privacy.
  • Responds timely and effectively to client and team requests and knows when to escalate.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, as a member of a team and under supervision.
  • BS degree preferred.
