Immigration Consultant

Fragomen, the leading global immigration services provider, is looking for an Immigration Consultant to join our team in the São Paulo, Brasil Office. To provide a high level of strategic compliance services to firm’s corporate client base including preparation and submission of document procurement, and legalization.


  • Primary responsibility for case management of document procurement
  • Provide timely advice to clients and detailed explanation of the document issuance process registration, follow-up throughout the process and assistance for possible needs
  • Coordinate the submission of applications and return of approved applications
  • Liaise with other Fragomen offices with developments and changes of policies and procedures
  • Follow Fragomen´s administrative procedures, including conducting internal processes, reporting and operational activities;
  • Complete the cases, including the process of initiating and monitoring billing.
  • Respond directly and immediately to billing requests, acting proactively to collect the cases under their responsibility, including post-billing follow-up of cases.
  • Follows firm procedures with respect to file maintenance, record keeping and use of Connect System
  • Update Connect system in real time, according to the process;
  • Interact with the Administrative Support of the technical area regarding procedures for the development and billing of the cases, including the immigration and administrative / financial processes;
  • Scan and make copies of documents, except for those that are provided exclusively by Administrative Support;
  • Solve any requirements that are presented by the competent agencies, either remotely or in person.
  • Elaborate and provide training courses
  • Provide assistant in person at the Federal Police, MTE, Detran, Poupatempo / Legislative Assembly, Federal Revenue Service, Serasa, Consulates, Electoral Registry, Military Board
  • Ensure that the service is delivered to the Client with Fragomen standard quality within the agreeded timeframe


  • Graduated:  Law ; International Relations and Business Administration. Exceptions may be considered.
  • Languages: English -  fluent (Mandatory) /Spanish (desirable)
  • Minimum experience required: 5 years working in the Immigration Services area
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office package
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail and very well organized
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Treat all information about the firm and its client and their business as wholly confidential
  • Know how to handle various subjects and documents at the same time
