Marketing Events Senior Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Events Senior Executive to join our Marketing and Business Development Team. This is a full-time, permanent role that will be based in our London office.

About the role:

Reporting to our US-based Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of Fragomen’s internal and external events across the EMEA region.

More specifically, this will include managing all stages of event lifecycles, such as: initial analysis and research, negotiating with vendors, project management, AV and production, communications, logistics, post-event follow up and metrics, etc. 

In this role you will be required to travel to Fragomen offices and various off-site locations across the region, so a willingness and flexibility around this will be important.

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of events, including managing event budgets, lead generation and other defined ROI metrics.
  • Creating and developing event-related presentations, collateral and promotional materials
  • Maintaining the firm’s central event calendar and digest, event management tool, website and CRM system.
  • Demonstrate cross-cultural communication skills and ability to interface with internal clients in Fragomen offices worldwide.
  • Provide administrative support including helping to monitor the team’s events mailbox, schedule meetings, help with formatting projects, etc.
  • Provide additional support to wider Marketing and Business Development team become a technical expert in Immigration law, acting as a sounding board for the discussion of legal issues facing our lawyers across a broad range of areas.

About you:

You will have strong experience in an Events based roles, which will have been gained in a professional services environment – law firm experience would be preferred.

A proven background in delivering a broad portfolio of successful internal and external events is essential, as is the ability to work autonomously, be a self-starter and build excellent working relationships.

Also required:

  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations, requiring adherence to tight deadlines
  • Independently driven, resourceful, pro-active and self-motivated
  • Client service oriented, with the aptitude to address internal and external clients’ needs in a professional and courteous manner
  • Highly analytical, organised and detail-oriented
  • Solid writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Able to collaborate effectively and deliver outcomes in a team environment that spans across multiple time zones
  • Capable of learning and understanding an audience and producing targeted events
  • Proficient with the following would be advantageous: Cvent, Marketo, Salesforce CRM, Social Media platforms, SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.); knowledge of InDesign and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Additional language skills are a plus
