Senior Business Immigration Analyst - APAC Coordination Centre

Job Description

As a Senior Business Immigration Analyst within a high performing immigration team, you will be provided an excellent platform to learn the technical aspects of immigration law and regulations of the countries within the Asia Pacific Region. Liaising with external vendor, you will take on a consultative approach with clients by sharing knowledge and advice. You will also be responsible for the co-ordination of visa processes and formulation of advice for a variety of Fragomen clients for their allocated countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the various types of immigration matters of allocated countries

  • Perform a range of case related duties, including researching and drafting correspondences to advise clients regarding business visits and work pass exempt activities, compiling metrics/ reports and summarizing data

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with relevant Third Party Vendors ensuring effective flow of communication to the client and where necessary making sure the vendors provide the quality of service delivery expected by Fragomen and the client

  • Liaise closely with third party vendors to monitor any changes to legislation or processes that may impact current or future applications to the countries covered by the team

  • Identify key issues that may impact immigration formalities (travel plans, dependents, health issues etc.) and address these issues with the client

  • Support in conflict resolution and management of client expectations

  • Update case management system and maintenance of client files in accordance with agreed practice protocols

REQUIREMENTS

  • A good diploma or degree in any discipline. Law/Legal Services specializations will be advantageous.

  • Ideally 2 to 3 years’ work experience. Relevant work experience in the immigration field preferred.

  • Reliable and conscientious with a good eye for detail, possesses a client service mentality and demonstrates strong analytical and judgment skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive work environment

  • Strong ability to think on his/her feet

  • Team player who is able to develop strong working relationships with team members and gain their confidence through displaying professionalism and efficiency in all communications

  • Complete tasks within agreed time-frames and in line with expectations; capable of managing a high number of tasks simultaneously, and setting priorities accordingly; ability to meet various deadlines

  • Able to act under instruction with limited supervision
