Support Specialist, IT Communications & Training

Job Description Summary

Fragomen Worldwide, an AmLaw 100 law firm and the world’s leading provider of immigration services is seeking a Support Specialist to join our dynamic Technology Training Team. The position will report directly to the Director of IT Communications & Training, but will be a highly cross-functional role, working with all Information Technology groups, the Fragomen Connect Implementation Team, many of Fragomen's client-facing teams and their clients.

Job Description

Responsibilities of the Support Specialist will include:

  • Play a key role in IT initiatives with a focus on the communication, training and change management aspects
  • Be or become a subject matter expert on Fragomen Connect to provide best-in-class service
  • Create, update, validate and deliver IT communications and training content (with input from multiple areas of subject matter expertise)
  • Deliver interactive and engaging training for adult learners virtually and live
  • Be a resource for internal and external audiences
  • Support other communication and training projects

The ideal Support Specialist will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Have a familiarity with law firms, or intense professional services environments.
  • Self-starter with problem solving skills
  • Comfortable and knowledgeable with technology
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills to deliver effective, confident and results-oriented communications and presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through collaboration
  • 2+ years of immigration case work background a plus
  • Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to enable individual to create varied documents, instructional materials and spreadsheets
  • Flexibility to travel
