Vanessa is a Manager with Fragomen Canada, where she works with large and small companies and their employees to understand Canadian legislation and regulations concerning business immigration with a focus on work permits, student and visitor visas and inadmissibility issues. She has represented individuals, corporate and institutional clients from a variety of industries, including multinational construction, technology manufacturing, multinational mining and exploration, multinational aerospace and defense, international retail and software services companies amongst others. 

From 2004 to 2006 in Quebec, Vanessa assisted a lawyer with providing legal assistance for matters concerning Canadian immigration for multiple families and refugees that could not afford legal fees.

Vanessa speaks English, French, and understands Arabic and Spanish.
