Government offices will be closed due to the upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday. Foreign nationals should check with their consular posts and/or government office to determine exact closure dates, and should consult their immigration professional about the extent of delays due to the closures.
Below are some of the closures:
Azerbaijan:
All government entities will be closed September 1- 4.
Bangladesh:
All government entities will be closed September 1- 3.
Brunei:
All government entities will be closed September 1-3.
Indonesia:
All government entities will be closed on September 1.
Kuwait:
All government entities will be closed August 31-September 4.
Malaysia:
All government entities will be closed on September 1. August 31 is also a public holiday in observance of Malaysia’s Independence Day.
Philippines:
Although no official announcements have been made, it is anticipated that all government entities will be closed on September 1.
Oman:
Government entities, including the Ministry of Manpower, will be closed August 31-September 4.
Saudi Arabia:
Most government entities are closed August 24-September 10.
Singapore:
All government entities will be closed on September 1.
Turkey:
All government entities will be closed August 28-September 5.
Qatar:
Although no official announcements have been made, it is anticipated that all government entities will be closed September 3 and 7. It is expected that normal work will resume on September 10.
United Arab Emirates:
All government entities, including the General Directorates of Residence and Foreigners Affairs and Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, will be closed August 31-September 3. Normal work will resume on September 4.
