Cambodia: New E-visa For Business Travel

Foreign nationals can now apply for an e-visa (“Visa Type E”) online for business activities of up to 30 days. The government will process the visa in three business days (faster than applying at a consular post) and will email the applicant a certificate that can be downloaded and printed for entry purposes. Foreign nationals applying for a work permit in Cambodia after arrival can extend the e-visa in country after entering into an employment contract with a local Cambodian entity within the first 30 days of arrival. Meanwhile, standard business travelers are not eligible to extend their e-visas in country.
