Canada: Online Application Status Tracker Expanded to More Immigration Categories

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has expanded its online application status tracker to four new categories of Express Entry permanent residence applications: Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Provincial Nominee Program. The online application status tracker was first launched in May 2021 for citizenship applications and in February 2022 for spouse, partner and dependent child sponsorship categories. It allows applicants to monitor their application online and stay informed of any actions they need to take during the processing of their application, instead of having to contact IRCC. According to the government, the online application status tracking tool will be expanded to additional types of applications in the coming months.
