Chile: Expedited Business Visa Implemented for Indian Nationals

Effective May 13, 2026, the Chilean government implemented an expedited business visa for Indian nationals, aimed at promoting trade and investment between the two countries. Activities permitted to be performed under this visa are the same as under the regular business visa, and foreign nationals who intent to undertake any activities beyond those allowed must obtain a short-term work authorization. The visa is valid for two years and allows multiple entries, with stays of up to 90 days per visit.  It features a more efficient application process, including shorter processing times and reduced administrative requirements, although exact details are not yet available.
