Croatia: Delays to Document Gathering Due to Strike

Due to an ongoing strike of the administrative staff of the courts in Croatia, some applicants for work and residence permits who are required to obtain proof from the court that they are not party to any existing criminal proceedings, have not and will not be able to obtain this proof until the strike is over (the date of which is unclear at this time). This type of document is required for third-country nationals seeking a Croatian travel document or temporary stay permit, or those seeking renewals of such documents.
