Czech Republic: New Visa Center in Dresden, Germany Centralizes Visa Application Process in Schengen Area

Beginning May 1, 2023, a new visa center will open at the Czech consulate in Dresden, Germany, providing a centralized location for foreign nationals in the Schengen Area to apply for long-term visas and residence permits. These individuals will be able to begin scheduling their appointments at the center via email, as is done now at this consulate, beginning March 15, 2023. As of April 30, 2023, other Czech consulates in the Schengen Area will no longer process these applications.
