Denmark: Delays for ‘Association Agreement with Türkiye’-Covered Applications

Danish visa applications under the agreement covered by the 'Association Agreement with Türkiye', which grants special residence and work rights to economically active Turkish nationals and their family members in EU countries, including Denmark, are experiencing significant processing delays of up to many months over the normal 30-day processing time. Delays are projected to continue into 2026. As a result, hiring timelines and project planning may be disrupted.
