Denmark: Work Permit Exemption for Business Events, Conferences, Trade Fairs

Denmark has introduced a 10-day work permit exemption for certain foreign nationals involved in the organization and execution of business events, conferences and trade fairs in Denmark. The exemption has certain limits:
- It only applies to key event staff (e.g. managers, planners, organizers, technicians, and communication professionals);
- It only applies to permanent members of an international event team who are employed by a foreign organizer or a foreign subcontractor;
- It is limited to closed (not open to the public), indoor business events with a minimum of 400 registered participants; and
- It encompass preparatory work, activities during the event, and post-event duties.
