Egypt: E-Visa and Visa-on-Arrival No Longer Available for Canadian Nationals

Effective September 3, 2023, nationals of Canada will no longer be eligible to obtain an e-visa or visa-on-arrival for entry to Egypt. Instead, they will need to obtain a pre-arranged visit visa from an Egyptian consulate abroad prior to traveling to Egypt, which can take up to five business days to process.
