Fragomen Webcast: UK Nationals in Europe: Planning for the end of the Brexit transition period

The transition period in which the UK continues to be bound by EU rules comes to an end on 31 December 2020 with no further extensions possible beyond this date. A “no-deal” Brexit looks increasingly likely, unless the UK and the EU can agree terms in the weeks ahead.

Join us in this upcoming interactive webcast which will focus on the steps employers need to take to ensure they remain compliant and limit costs when employing UK nationals in Europe when free movement comes to an end.

George Koureas, Europe Managing Partner, Jo Antoons, Partner, and Christine Sullivan, Director, from Fragomen’s EU team will discuss:

• The impact of a “no-deal” scenario on work readiness in Europe
• What employers can do now and what they should be planning for post-transition period
• What social security cost planning can be envisaged
• The approach to business and commuter travel and long-term moves in the EU
• The risks employers should be aware of
• The options available for strategic and cost-effective workforce planning across the EU
