France: Residence Permit Application Online Filing Now Available to EU, EEA and Swiss Citizens

As of September 28, 2022, nationals from the EU, European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland can file initial and renewal residence permit applications using the centralized online filing system, ANEF. Eligible applicants and their family members who hold EU, EEA or Swiss citizenship, including citizens currently residing in France, can apply through this system based on their EU identity documents. Note, this online filing process should not vary between Préfectures.
