G20 nationals (Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, the United States, the African Union and the European Union) are no longer eligible to enter Gabon without a visa (except for those countries who have reciprocal visa agreements with Gabon). Instead, they will need to apply for an e-Visa online before travel if entering Gabon by air via the Leon Mba International Airport in Libreville. Nationals entering Gabon through other ports of entry will need to obtain a visa from a Gabon consular post prior to traveling. Although already implemented in practice, Fragomen will provide an update when this news has been published in the official government gazette or is otherwise announced publicly.
