Based on team observations, officials are now more thoroughly scrutinizing company-authorized signatures on immigration applications. As a reminder, to avoid processing delays and correction requests, applicants should ensure that:
- if joint representation is required, the documents must be signed by two individuals authorized to sign jointly;
- if the person signing the application is not listed in the company register, a valid power of attorney must be submitted to the authorities;
- if the name of the signatory cannot be clearly identified based on the signature, a signature sample should be included; and
- while the use of a company seal is not mandatory, applicants are advised to use one to help expedite the process.
