Iceland: Processing Fees Increase

As of January 1, 2023, processing fees for residence permit and citizenship applications increased with amounts effective immediately. The new application fees are as follows: citizenship application: ISK 27,000, up from ISK 25,000; residence permit (initial and renewal applications): ISK 16,000, up from 15,000 ISK (expedited processing: ISK 48,000, up from ISK 45,000); re-issuance of residence cards for family members of European Economic Area/ European Free Trade Association (EEA/EFTA) nationals who are not from EEA/EFTA area: ISK 4,800, up from ISK 4,500.
