Japan: Visa Exemption for Panamanian Nationals Implemented

Nationals of Panama holding an ePassport in compliance with the International Civil Aviation Organization are now visa exempt to enter Japan for business and tourism activities for up to 90 days (and not more than 180 days per a 12-month cycle), provided they are not paid from a Japanese source and their activities are not billable nor profit-generating. Those who do not hold an ePassport, those seeking to enter to conduct other activities or to stay for more than 90 days will still require a visa.
