Luxembourg: New Online Tool Available for Many Immigration Applications

EU citizens, third-country national dependents of EU citizens and third-country nationals with a residence permit can now choose to submit their residence permit (or renewal) applications on a new online government system (instead of the mail-in option). The system will track the progress of the application. Foreign nationals living abroad filing initial applications must still use the mail-in system for their applications as they must mail original copies.  The government will respond to online applications and provide decisions by mail (processing times will not change).
