Following recent reforms, non-EU nationals filing temporary permit applications must appear at the Ministry of Interior to submit biometrics after they file their applications.
Appearance Details
Foreign nationals can schedule an appointment at the time of the work and residence permit filing.
Foreign nationals should bring the following with them to the appointment:
- Valid Passport;
- Four passport-sized photos and a CD containing the same photos (all photos must meet international standards); and
- EUR 16 fee.
What This Means for Foreign Nationals
The Ministry will contact non-EU nationals with pending temporary permit applications by mail or phone to schedule an appointment for biometrics.
Accompaniment by a Fragomen representative to the appointment will require a fee.
