Portugal: Golden Visa Program Cancellation Update

As an update to the closure of the Golden Visa, a new draft law indicates that the program will be cancelled (the exact date of closure has not been confirmed) except for those donating to cultural institutions in Portugal (the exact amount of the donation required has not been published). Therefore, as opposed to the information previously published, applications under the program will be accepted until the new law goes into effect, which is likely to be approximately one to two months (the exact date of the implementation depends on the government review process).
