Russia: Fee Increase Forthcoming

The Russian government has announced a 20% increase in processing fees starting July 1, 2024. The revised fees will be as follows: RUB 4,200 for Highly Qualified Specialists/Standard work permits, RUB 12,000 for corporate work permits, RUB 960 for invitation letters, and RUB 1,920 for in-country visa renewal/change of status. This adjustment is intended to boost the government's budget revenues, marking the first change in fees in nearly a decade since January 2015.
