Russia: Invitation Letter Processing Times Reduced

Effective December 10, 2022, the processing time for invitation letter filings will be reduced from 20 business days to 15 business days for all types of invitation letters. Note, some invitation letter categories are already being considered under the new 15-day timeline, including those for Highly Qualified Specialists permits, individuals entering for employment with branches of companies within World Trade Organization countries and foreign nationals entering Russia due to illness of close relatives or medical treatment purposes. This new processing time is applicable to all Russian districts.
