Serbia: Consolidated D-Visa and Work Permit Process Forthcoming; Online Applications Temporarily Suspended During Transition
January 18, 2024
Due to Serbia’s transition to a consolidated visa and work permit process that will be effective February 1, 2024, online D-Visa applications are not being accepted until February 1, 2024. After this date, applicants will again be able to apply for a D-Visa online, which will then be valid as an entry visa and residence and employment authorization in Serbia. The standard government processing time will remain 30 days, but there may be delays due to backlogs from the temporary suspension. Foreign nationals seeking to enter Serbia before February 1, 2024 should apply in person at a Serbian consular post for a D Visa.
