Work permit quota applications for 2016 can only be filed on the following days:
- May 17 – 22
- June 15 – 30
Work permit quota corrections for 2015 can only be filed on the following days:
- July 13 – 24
- August 10 – 31
Each year, the Russian government sets a national quota for the maximum number of available standard work permits. Employers cannot file work permit applications on behalf of foreign workers unless they obtain an allocation of quota numbers, for which they generally apply in the year preceding their need.
