Israel’s border control employees have partially suspended operations due to a strike of the Ministry of Interior’s employees that took place January 13, 2015. During the suspension, travelers should expect long lines at entry and departure points at Ben Gurion Airport.
At this time, it is not yet clear when the strike will end.

Travelers to and from Ben Gurion Airport should arrive early to account for delays and longer immigration processing times during the strike.
