Sierra Leone

If your company is sending employees to Sierra Leone—Fragomen is here to help. Working closely with our Local Advisors in Sierra Leone, we provide the immigration strategies and support you need to get your employees on the ground as quickly as possible.

The immigration laws of Sierra Leone are relatively restrictive. Requirements, processing times, employment eligibility, and benefits for accompanying family members vary by visa classification.

An Entry Visa will allow a business visitor to stay up to 90 days.

Work can be performed under a Work Permit for up to one year. A foreign national must hold residence status in Sierra Leone for 30 days before filing a Work Permit application.

Note that travelers require an international certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.

Detailed Immigration Snapshots, Document Lists and Process Guides are available to clients on request.
