Switzerland/Vanuatu: Visa Requirement Reintroduced for Golden Passport Holders

Citizens of Vanuatu holding passports issued since May 25, 2015 once again require a visa to travel to Switzerland, where these individuals were previously visa exempt. Swiss authorities decided to follow the recent partial suspension of the visa waiver agreement between the European Union and Vanuatu due to security concerns with Vanuatu's citizenship by investment (golden passport) scheme.
