Philippines: Updated Entry/Exit Requirements After Proof of Vaccination Status Requirement Eliminated

The Philippine government announced that foreign nationals are no longer required to present proof of their COVID-19 vaccination status or certificates upon entry; as a result, all international travelers are now permitted to enter the Philippines, regardless of their vaccination status. Furthermore, the Bureau of Immigration issued guidelines outlining entry and exit procedures, which are similar to pre-pandemic requirements. Notably, inbound foreign nationals, including tourists and business travelers, must have passports valid for at least six months, a valid visa, if applicable, and a valid onward/return ticket, with exceptions for certain groups, including spouses and children of Filipino citizens. Additionally, Philippine work visa holders must present certain documents, such as a valid work visa stamped in their passport and an ACR I-Card or ACR I-Card Waiver, during arrival/departure inspection. Certain categories of arriving and departing passengers, including Filipino citizens and foreign nationals, must register or update their information with the eTravel System.
