United Arab Emirates: Fees for Failure to Meet Emiratization Targets Can Be Paid in Installments

Employers who failed to meet Emiratization targets in their workforce by the end of 2022 and are therefore subject to fees imposed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE) can settle the fees in installment payments. Employers should submit a request to pay in installments through the Tasheel services centers or using the dedicated MOHRE app. Installments payments for the 2022 fees can be paid monthly, quarterly, or semi-yearly, but are due in full no later than December 31, 2023.
