United Kingdom: YMS Ballot for Taiwanese Applicants to Open from January 31, 2024

The first ballot for Youth Mobility Scheme applicants from Taiwan will be open from January 31, 2024 and February 2, 2024. A total of 800 places will be allocated during the first ballot, with the remaining 200 places to be made available in a second ballot in mid-2024. Those chosen under the ballot will be able to apply for entry to the United Kingdom under the country’s Youth Mobility Scheme. Under the program, successful applicants – who must have savings of at least GBP 2,530 and have no children under 18 whom they live with or are financially responsible for – will be able to live, work and study in the United Kingdom for up to 24 months.
