Uzbekistan: New Golden Visa Pathway Forthcoming

Effective June 1, 2025, Uzbekistan will introduce a new five-year residence permit for foreign nationals who make a one-off payment of USD 250,000 for the principal permit holder, and USD 150,000 for each accompanying family member (spouse, child, or parent). Rules regarding renewals remain to be clarified. Uzbekistan already has residence-by-investment pathways for real estate investments and investments into companies or enterprises.
