An additional online submission step via the Ministry of Public Security online portal is now required for Chinese nationals applying for Long-Term Visa applications in Ho Chi Minh City, resulting in a lengthier processing time. This update is specific to applications in Ho Chi Minh City but this new step may be extended to Long-Term Visa and Temporary Residence Card applications for additional nationalities in the coming months.
