Employers and employees in the below countries should expect longer processing times for various immigration applications with delays possibly persisting after the holiday due to application backlogs. The following countries will shut their government offices according to the below schedule:

- Algeria: Closed either April 21-22 or April 22-23.
- Azerbaijan: Closed April 22-25, 2023.
- Bahrain: Closed April 21-23, 2023.
- Bangladesh: Closed April 19-23, 2023.
- Bosnia Herzegovina: Closed April 21, 2023.
- Brunei: Closed April 22-25, 2023.
- India: Tentatively closed April 21, 2023.
- Indonesia: Closed April 19-25, 2023.
- Iraq: Expected to close April 21-23, 2023.
- Iraqi Kurdistan: Closed April 22-24, 2023.
- Ivory Coast: Closed April 21, 2023.
- Jordan: Closed April 21-24, 2023.
- Kosovo: Closed April 21, 2023.
- Kuwait: Closed April 21-25, 2023.
- Lebanon: Closed April 21-22, 2023.
- Malaysia: Possible early closure April 21; Closed April 22-24, 2023.
- Morocco: Expected to close April 21-23, 2023.
- North Macedonia: Closed April 21, 2023.
- Oman: Closed April 20-24, 2023.
- Pakistan: Closed April 21-25, 2023.
- Qatar: Expected to close April 21-25, 2023.
- Saudi Arabia: Closed April 21-26, 2023
- Singapore: Closed April 22, 2023.
- Sri Lanka: Closed April 22, 2023.
- Türkiye: Closed April 20 through April 24, 2023.
