Welcome to Fragomen's UK Diagnostic Tool for the EU Settlement Scheme

Use this tool to generally determine whether you might qualify for the EU Settlement Scheme. By choosing the responses that best fit the circumstances, you'll be guided to the relevant options and considerations.

Note:

  • Irish Nationals are not required to apply for the scheme as their rights are protected but can apply if they wish.
  • European nationals and their dependants holding a residence card or permanent residence are still required to convert this status to EU Settlement Scheme.

The tool is intended for information purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice. Please consult the details outlined in our Brexit: What You Need to Know and speak to your legal adviser to determine the best course of action specific to you.
