Rachel joined Fragomen as an Associate in 2008 and was made a Partner in 2017.

Rachel practices exclusively in the field of business immigration law and advises a diverse client base on a broad variety of corporate immigration matters, including nonimmigrant visas, consular processing, permanent residence and citizenship. Her clients range from global Fortune 500 companies to boutique clients in the financial services, media, fragrances/cosmetics, manufacturing and nonprofit sectors.

Rachel helps global businesses manage their employees’ international assignments and understand the employment of foreign nationals on both a temporary and permanent basis in the U.S. She ensures clients’ compliance with immigration laws, Department of Labor regulations and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services policies. She also advises clients regarding the immigration implications of corporate mergers and acquisitions, employees' maintenance of status and I-9 employment verification.

As an undergraduate, Rachel was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. While in law school, she was an Associate Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. She also was a Brooklyn Law School International Business Law Fellow and a recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in International Trade and Customs Law.

Rachel’s pro bono work has included volunteering at an immigration detention center in Texas as well as filing successful asylum applications and obtaining Special Immigrant Juvenile Status for unaccompanied minors.

Rachel speaks English and Spanish.
