Melissa is a Senior Manager at Fragomen’s Toronto office where she works closely with Canadian employers and multinational corporations to provide strategic immigration assistance with a wide range of Canadian immigration matters. Combining business acumen with over a decade of immigration experience, Melissa provides focused, integrated and practical guidance to a sophisticated corporate clientele.

Melissa has a unique combination of experience in corporate immigration—assisting multinational corporations with strategic immigration planning for their temporary foreign workforce, facilitating the transition of that workforce to permanent residence, and assisting with policy and process compliance matters—while also having litigated before all levels of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court.

Melissa has assisted clients with their immigration needs in various industries, including information technology, aerospace, oil and gas, financial services, mining and energy, project management, engineering, manufacturing and hospitality.

She is frequently invited to speak at industry events and continuing legal education seminars.
