Alex is a Senior Associate within Fragomen's private client practice. He has more than 10 years experience across the full range of UK immigration matters, focusing in particular on investor and entrepreneur applications, and complex personal immigration matters.

Alex primarily assists investors and high-net-worth individuals relocating to the UK as well as applications for entrepreneurs. He handles complex nationality claims in multiple European jurisdictions, and supports clients with immigration and nationality implications of international surrogacy and adoption. Alex is adept at assessing complex British nationality claims based on ancestry and has an in-depth knowledge of European free movement rights. He has previously brought successful challenges to the Home Office on human rights grounds.

Alex studied philosophy at Girton College, Cambridge before completing a law degree from the University of Law in Guildford.  He qualified at a legal aid practice specialising in asylum and human rights claims before joining Fragomen in April 2015.
