Clayton is an Associate at Fragomen’s Washington, DC office, where he advises U.S. and global organizations on complex U.S. immigration regulation, policy and compliance. Clayton helps multinational employers and their global talent base navigate an array of government agencies, regulatory requirements and administrative procedures to achieve a greater global reach and a more mobile workforce. He assists clients with matters spanning the full range of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, Labor Certification Applications, I-9 compliance, consular issues, employment-based permanent residency and all other immigration-related employment matters.
Clayton earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, where he served as Senior Notes Editor for the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal while also working as a Law Clerk for Fragomen. Clayton’s business background, underscored by his bachelor’s degree in Economics, his admission to Georgetown’s Business Law Scholars Program and his professional certification as a Capital Markets & Securities Analyst, provides him with unique and valuable insights into the intricate intersection between immigration law and the accompanying business implications, positioning him as a trusted advisor to his clients.
Clayton’s pro bono work includes assisting with juvenile asylum cases through Catholic Charities Legal Services.
