Jose is a Senior Business Immigration Attorney at Servicios Migratorios Chile (Fragomen’s affiliate in Chile) where he represents a range of clients from individuals to multinational corporations on all aspects of Chilean immigration law. Jose represents clients working in various sectors, including technology, finance, telecommunications, health, consulting, manufacturing and services. He is a Costa Rican national, licensed to practice law in both Costa Rica and Chile.
Jose started his Fragomen career as an Associate in 2008 at Fragomen’s Costa Rica office and later gained experience as an in-house lawyer for a multinational banking corporation for years before joining the Fragomen office in Chile in 2019.
Jose is actively engaged in pro bono work, working with Fundación Pro-Bono to provide personal assistance to migrants and handling court cases on their behalf.
Jose speaks English and Spanish.
