Joshua is an Associate at Fragomen’s New York office, where he prepares and files immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions for specialized knowledge professionals, multinational managers and individuals of extraordinary ability. He has experience responding to Requests for Evidence issued by USCIS on behalf of H-1B, TN, L-1, EB-1 and O-1 visa applications. Joshua assists clients from various industries, including advertising and marketing, communications, financial services, banking, internet services, retail, engineering, agrotechnology and manufacturing.

During law school, Joshua interned for the Queens District Attorney’s Office and the New York City Law Department. He served as the Senior Editor of the St. John’s Law Review and earned the ALI-CLE Scholarship and Leadership Award. Upon graduation, he was awarded the St. John’s Public Service Award for completing more than 500 hours of pro bono work.

Obtained approvals for O-1 Extraordinary Ability visa petitions for individuals who are in the top of their respective fields, from corporate CEOs to professional athletes.

Successfully responded to dozens of Requests for Evidence issued by USCIS for visa categories including specialty occupation, multinational manager, specialized knowledge and those categories included under the North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Drafted a legal memorandum to advise a client on instituting a company policy that complied with U.S. immigration regulations.

Co-drafted a legal memorandum to advise multiple clients on recent changes in immigration restrictions due to COVID-19.
