Khehla is a Senior Manager: Government Strategy, Corporate Compliance, Consular Services and Document Procurement at Fragomen’s Johannesburg office. He has 18 years of experience in the immigration field. He is currently responsible for the following areas: government strategies, corporate compliance, consular service, global knowledge and document procurement for Sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Khehla was the head of the Regional Office in Johannesburg, the largest office of the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) in South Africa providing immigration and civic services. He also was responsible for immigration inspectorate functions and operations with other law enforcement structures, including acting as the provincial coordinator of all immigration functions in Gauteng.

During his tenure in foreign diplomatic missions in the United Kingdom, Germany and the head office in Pretoria, South Africa, Khehla was responsible for regional office activities for most missions in Europe and Scandinavia related to training, support and interpretation of DHA legislation, including the Immigration Act and its regulations. He also worked closely with law enforcement on urgent matters, as well as various government departments, global corporate companies and other stakeholders in the immigration sector.

Khehla speaks English, IsiZulu, SeSotho, SeXhosa and Afrikaans.
